How much does a paired Watch effect iPhone RAM?

I have an iPhone 5s paired with a first gen Watch. The RAM use on the iPhone stays fairly high. I've deleted some active and some Watch connected apps without effect. I don't want to mess with pairing, block or delete iPhone Watch app from searching/connecting, to check about memory use - RAM, on the iPhone.

Does a paired Watch effect iPhone RAM?
